Then Jesus declared, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry,
and he who believes in me will never be thirsty. John 6:35

No one expects to be homeless. The women and children that Shepherd's Gate serves come from all walks of life. Many tragic experiences contribute to their hopelessness. Their destitution  is heart-breaking. Abuses from childhood and failed relationships, loss of jobs, and drug and alcohol addiction figure heavily into their personal histories; the worst factor of all is abandonment. They simply have nowhere else to go.

Shepherd's Gate provides a safe environment.  Love and acceptance is at the core of the Christian doctrine we practice at Shepherd's Gate. Grace Church is blessed to contribute a part of our mission tithes to Shepherd's Gate.
