Grace Church of Pleasanton was born as Canyon Creek Presbyterian Church - Pleasanton in September 1991. It was started as a “daughter” church of Canyon Creek Presbyterian Church (PCA) in San Ramon. The church planter/organizing pastor was Robert Scott. The church first began meeting at Villa Tassajara, but moved to Harvest Park Middle School in Pleasanton, in March 1994. It was organized as Grace Presbyterian Church and became a “particular” church in June 1994. Pastor Scott resigned his position and moved to Oregon in September, 1998. David C. Crenshaw, who had been the Assistant Pastor, was called by a unanimous vote of the congregation in September, 1998. He was installed as Senior Pastor on Sunday, November 22, 1998. Pastor Dave retired from Grace church  in 2001. In 2002, we called Pastor Tom Brown to Grace church where he is still serving today.
